OUR VISION
The Flatwood Community Outreach is multi-faceted, including:

Flatwood People That Love Food and Clothing Ministry – it has continuously served the community with food and clothing since 1982 (nearly 40 years)

Flatwood Ministries Community Development Corporation – has provided low cost housing to widows and ex-offenders completing rehabilitation programs

Flatwood Internet and Media Outreach – has been the online face of Flatwood Church and Community Outreaches through the website and Facebook. We continue to maintain this website to present current and recent outreach efforts. For a historical perspective check the History tab

OUR PURPOSE
Flatwood Church has a rich history, going back to 1916. It began as an independent church, but joined a denomination in 1927. Just before its one hundredth anniversary, it regained its independence. Flatwood Ministries, chartered in 2004, is the ongoing community outreach ministries of the church. Although the church has undergone some administrative changes, many of the community outreaches continue. The Flatwood Ministries website is an effort to reestablish a face for those ongoing ministries
